Solstice Arts Centre, Navan, Co. Meath, provides regular events & activities for children including Kids theatre, art, dance, music and drama events. Regular activities include a youth theatre, ballet class, parent & toddler group, and speech & drama class. Amhrán na Mara tells the story of Ben and his little sister Saoirse, the last remaining ‘seal-child’, as they go on an amazing journey into the magical world of ancient legend in an attempt to return to their seaside town.

Photograms: Capturing Shadows - Family Workshop

Taking inspiration from our exhibition LUX, children and adults will create their very own photograms by capturing the shadow of their compositions on photographic paper. This is a camera-less process where participants are invited to bring small objects such as plants and photographic negatives to create their unique artworks. You will learn about the invention of the moving image and have the opportunity to see and play with the artist’s collection of optical toys.

Snow White lives with her Mother in the forest of Fairy Green - a magical place filled with magical creatures, where magical things can happen. When she blindly follows the handsome Prince through the forest, she stumbles upon seven interesting individuals... With the Evil Queen attempting to interfere with fate, how will Snow White ever find her true love, and true love’s first kiss?
