Muldoon's Picnic with Special Guests

Muldoon's Picnic with Special Guests

Saturday 26 August, 8:00pm    Main Auditorium  |  Tickets: €16 / €14

Hosted by the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and New Yorker poetry editor Paul Muldoon, Muldoon's Picnic has been described by Muldoon himself as "an omnium-gatherum" and by Time Out as a "music-and-literature extravaganza". We call it a stonkingly good night out!

Rarely staged outside New York, and at Solstice Arts Centre for one night only as part of a Scottish and Irish tour, Muldoon and his house band Rogue Oliphant (including Cait O’Riordan of The Pogues, Chris Harford and Ray Kubian) will be joined by special literary and musical guests including Booker Prize winner and Laureate for Irish Fiction Anne Enright, The Gloaming’s Iarla Ó Lionáird and award-winning poet Michael Longley

The Muldoon’s Picnic tour is produced by Poetry Ireland and supported by an Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Arts Council of Northern Ireland Touring Grant. Muldoon’s Picnic is hosted in New York City by the Irish Arts Center.
