Maiden is the inspirational story of Tracy Edwards piloting the first ever all women’s crew in the world’s toughest yacht race. Tracy’s dream was opposed on all sides: her male competitors thought an all-women crew would never make it, the chauvinistic yachting press took bets on her failure, and potential sponsors rejected her. But against all odds the crew of the Maiden managed to not only stay in the race but beat the boys at their own game, winning the two toughest stages and coming second overall.
